Each month, the Dynamic Fit Pros will contribute to "Monday's At The Mission Program" the children at Skid Row and as you being an Ambassador, this will allow the opportunity to be able to donate more money each month to the teens because of your referrals and ambassador work.
We need your help because your referrals are the lifeblood of our business. Only through your assistance can we keep building the business and consistently provide the level of service that ensure our clients are always completely satisfied. Mondays at the Mission is a weekly career and life skills program for teens experiencing homelessness on Skid Row. We host guest speakers and mentor opportunities for our young adults at the Union Rescue Mission, the largest private homeless shelter in Los Angeles, and the only shelter that takes in children on Skid Row. It is imperative that efforts are made for young people to be acknowledged, represented and given hope for a brighter future. Mondays at the Mission was founded nine years ago by Christopher Kai and is currently being run by the Creative Director Justine Sophia.
We have helped 1,000+ students stay in school, find jobs, and attend college. Our 300+ speakers from 38 countries have included: business executives, Olympians, Navy Seals, mountaineers, Grammy winners, athletes, scientists, politicians, educators, healthcare professionals, and visionaries such as:
Elon Musk, Russell Brand, Adrian Grenier, Buzz Aldrin, and Diana Nyad.
Of the 55,000 homeless individuals in Los Angeles, 17,000 are youth. There is an immense lack of shelters that take in Los Angeles youth consequently causing homeless youth to not be easily accounted for. These issues stem from a lack of affordable housing to inadequate support for mental health, domestic violence, etc.
